The best Steack Frites restaurant in Paris is “Chez Denise”, close to Les Halles. Just try the Entrecote and the “Brochette d’onglet grillé”, they are fantastic.
It’s true – the brochette d’onglet grillé at Chez Denise is pretty great. Love that place!
The Grand Pan is a bit out of the way in the 15th, but the quality of the meat and the meals in general is very, very high. I’m surprised it didn’t make your list.
Just came across your site , searching for info about Qtea as a matter of fact, so am reacting to this a little late. I am very surprised by the good results of Relais de l’entrecôte. I visited the Montparnasse branch two months ago and was seriously disappointed by the meat: bland taste and not very nice texture. The parsley butter sauce that it came drenched in was verging on the unpleasant. However I thought the frites were absolutely wonderful so I’m very sad I won’t be going back as there’s no choice for the main course. Damn! Must try the Severo.
I think I agree with the comment on Relais de l’Entrecote (st. germain-des-prés). At times it feels like the steak itself would not be good without the sauce. The best frites I had in Paris is by far in café le Lézard sur la rue Etienne Marcel. Though I have to admit I haven’t tried any of the places in your list except for the l’Entrecote
cosy atmosphere, very friendly staff, reasonable prices.
