- Alexander Lobrano (2012) “… a really serious, well-drilled, and honest neighborhood restaurant…It’s a place I’d cross town to eat again soon…”
- John Talbott (2012) “… on our preferred Sunday list.”

As I’ve always said, dining should be about the “WHOLE EXPERIENCE.” I have to say, this restaurant gets my vote for a wonderful overall experience from the time we made a reservation til the time we walked out the door. Not only were they at the top of their customer service game, the food was excellent!
Some well known “flavor of the year” restaurants who shall remain nameless but you all know who they are should take lessons!
I have to add, there are so many really good restaurants in popping up in the 15eme!
We went to Axuria last week but had a very disappointing experience. The service was simply hectic, even though the resto wasn’t full yet. Checking other tables while you try to talk to them, clonking the wine bottle against glasses and coolers, bringing the cutlery for your next course while the empty dishes are still on the table – stuff like that. They wanted to place us right next to a table of 7 which always gets noisy and then reacted rather coolly (not in a good way) when we wanted to change.
Both entrée and plat my husband had came too cold. That’s because the dishes don’t wait under a heat lamp but are simply put on a shelf outside the kitchen for the waiters to pick them up. So, if one of them is currently downstairs getting some other folks’ coats the food gets cold.
Apart from that we weren’t too overwhelmed by the food itself neither. I had a lamb that didn’t taste like lamb at all. Could as well have been beef.
First and last time, sorry to say.
