Sleigh bells ring, snow glistens, and Paris restaurants close. At least the vast majority of them do, between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day. To help you find a place to celebrate, we’ve compiled a schedule of who’s open during the holidays, based on direct confirmation from the restaurants in Our Guide

Restaurant Closures by Arrondissement

75001 (Louvre, Palais Royal, Opéra)
  • Ellsworth will close December 23-26 and January 1 and they’re always closed for Sunday dinner and Monday lunch. A special menu will be served between December 27-31 at both lunch and dinner, featuring holiday-themed wonders like buttermilk-fried poulet de Bresse and hot Mont d’Or with truffles and fermented mushrooms.
  • Juveniles will close after lunch service on December 23 and will reopen for lunch on January 3.
  • Kei will close from December 24 through January 3.
  • La Régalade Saint Honoré will not be closing for the holidays and they’re open every day. On December 31, they’re serving a five-course menu with a glass of Champagne for 130€.
  • Macéo will close December 24/25 and January 1-2. On December 31st, they’ll be serving a special three-course menu for 98€.
  • Olio Pane Vino will close on December 24/25 and January 1. They’ll be open on December 31.
  • Pirouette will close December 24-26 and December 31/January 1st. They’re always closed on Sunday.
  • Spring and Chez la Vieille will be closed on December 24/25 and December 31/January 1.
  • Verjus will close December 23-26 and January 2 and they’re always closed every Saturday & Sunday. On New Year’s Eve, they will be serving a holiday-themed tasting menu for 250€ including wine pairings. Tables for either seating (at 6:30pm or 10pm) can be booked online.
  • Zéboulon On December 31, they’re serving a special “four hands” dinner prepared by the chefs of both Zéboulon and Pirouette, including six courses for 120€.
75002 (Sentier)
  • A Noste will close from December 24-January 4, but they’re otherwise open every day.
  • Caffé Stern will close from December 24-26 and from January 1-8, and they’re always closed on Sunday & Monday.
  • Hero will close on December 24/25 and December 31/January 1.
  • La Bourse et La Vie will be closed on December 24/25 and December 31/January 1.
  • Caves Legrand will be closed on Christmas and New Year’s Day, but open on December 24 and 31 for apèro until 6pm.
  • Le Bistro Volnay will be closed from December 23 through January 2.
  • Les Jalles will be closed on December 24/25 and January 1. On December 31, they’ll be serving a special menu including a glass of Champagne for 98€.
  • Chez Georges will close on December 24/25 and December 31/January 1.
  • Grillé will remain open every day, if you just want a delicious kebab.
75003 (Northern Marais)
  • Candelaria will close on December 24/25 and December 31/January 1.
  • Dessance will close on December 24/25 but are open on December 31 and January 1.
  • Le Mary Celeste will close on December 24/25 and December 31/January 1.

  • Aux Prés will close December 24/25. On December 31, they’ll be serving a five-course meal for 150€. Open New Year’s Day.
  • Cosi will close for dinner on December 24, plus all day on December 25/26. They’ll close for dinner on December 31, plus all day on January 1.
  • Fish and Semilla will close from December 24 through January 2.
  • Freddy’s will close from December 24-26, plus December 31/January 1.
  • Little Breizh will close from December 24 through January 2.
75007 (Western St-Germain, Eiffel Tower)
  • Arpège is open Monday-Friday as usual, but that means they’re closed on December 24/25 and December 31/January 1.
  • Café Constant will not close for the holidays and is open every day of the week. À la carte offerings will reflect the season (langoustine ravioli, truffled poulet de Bresse, Mont Blanc for dessert) but there is no fixed holiday menu.
  • Clover will close December 24-26 and January 1-3 (open December 31).
  • Coutume will close December 24/25 and December 31/January 1.
  • Garance will close December 24-26 and January 1. On December 31, they’ll be serving a seven-course meal for 195€.
  • La Ferme Saint-Simon will close December 25-26 and January 1. On December 24, they’ll be serving a special Christmas Eve menu with five courses and a glass of Champagne for 120€. On December 31, they’ll be serving a six-course menu with a glass of Champagne for 160€.
  • Le Violin d’Ingres will not close for the holidays and is open every day of the week. They’re serving a special meal for Christmas and New Years, but are no longer accepting reservations.
  • Les Cocottes will not close for the holidays and is open every day of the week. À la carte offerings will reflect the season (ballotine de volaille with foie gras and truffled jus) but there is no fixed holiday menu.
  • Les Climats will close after lunch service on December 24 through January 2.
  • Nakatani will close from December 26-28 and on January 1. On December 24, they’re serving a special meal for 135€, and on December 25 & January 31, they’re serving a special menu for 195€.
  • Pottoka will close after lunch service on December 20 through December 26, and also on January 1. On December 31, they’re serving a seven-course dinner for 130€.
  • Treize will close from December 19 through 26, but they’re otherwise open for brunch in December on Sundays in addition to the usual Saturdays.
75008 (Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Elysées, Madeleine)
  • Alain Ducasse at the Plaza Athenée will close after lunch on December 23 through January 1, with the exception of a special New Year’s Eve dinner for 1200€.
  • Ledoyen will close from December 23-26 and they’re always closed on Sunday, which includes January 1. For December 31, they’re serving an eight-course menu for 490€.
  • Le Grand Restaurant will close from December 24 through January 2.
75009 (Pigalle, Grands Boulevards)
  • Buvette Gastrothèque will close from December 24-26 and on the evening of December 31. They’ll be open for brunch on January 1 from 12pm.
  • Caillebotte will close from December 24 through January 1, reopening for lunch on January 2.
  • El Nopal will close December 24/25 and December 31/January 1.
  • Le Richer will close December 24 through January 1.
  • Les Canailles will close December 24/25 and December 31-January 2.
  • La Régalade Conservatoire will close on December 24/25, and for lunch on December 31 and January 1st. For the evening of December 31, they’re serving a special four-course menu for 115€.
  • Le Bon Georges will close from December 23 through January 2.
  • Le Pantruche will close from December 24 through January 1, reopening for lunch on January 2.
  • Le Vin au Vert will not be serving food on December 24/25 or December 31/January 1, but will remain open to sell wine on both December 24 & 31.
75010 (Canal Saint-Martin, Gare de l’Est, Gare du Nord)
  • Albion will close from December 24 through January 3.
  • 52 Faubourg Saint Denis will close December 24 through January 1.
  • El Nopal will close December 20 through January 3.
  • Floyd’s Bar & Grill will close from December 24-26. On December 31, they’re offering two different menus: the “apéro” version with 6 oysters and two glasses of Champagne for 30€, and a dinner version for 70€ with four oysters, a côte de boeuf with fries and creamed spinach, plus dessert and a glass of Champagne. They’re also open on January 1, serving Sunday Roast for pour 18€ per person, including salad, roast beef, roasted seasonal veg, gravy, and yorkshire pudding.
  • A Mère will close from December 24 through January 8.
  • Holybelly will close from December 25-28 (closing at 4pm on December 24th) and will be open during the day on both December 31 and January 1.
  • Le Petit Cambodge will close from December 19 through January 3.
  • La Taverne de Zhao will close from December 24-26. They’re open on December 31 and serving their regular menu.
  • Porte 12 will remain open during the holidays except for their usual Sunday & Monday closures (including Christmas and New Year’s Day).
75011 (Bastille, République, Voltaire)
  • Au Passage will close from December 23 through January 1.
  • Biondi will close on December 24/25 and December 31/January 1.
  • Bistrot Paul Bert will close on December 24/25 and January 1, but will be open on December 31.
  • Blue Valentine will close from January 1-12. On December 31, they’re serving a six-course dinner for 145€.
  • Clamato will close from December 24 through January 3.
  • Come a Casa will close on December 24 plus their usual Sunday closure (December 25 & January 1).
  • Fulgurances will close from December 23 through January 3.
  • Jeanne A will close on December 24/25 and December 31/January 1, but are otherwise open every day.
  • L’Ecailler du Bistrot will be open for lunch on December 24 & 31, but at night they’ll be open only for selling oysters to to.
  • Le 6 Paul Bert will close on December 24/25 and January 1, but will be open on December 31.
  • Le Chardenoux will close December 24/25. On December 31, they’ll be serving a five-course dinner for 110€. Open New Year’s Day.
  • Le Chateaubriand will close December 24/25 and December 31-January 2.
  • La Fine Mousse Restaurant will close from December 23 through January 7. The bar will remain open except for December 24/25 and December 31/January 1.
  • La Pulperia will close from December 24-January 2.
  • Martin will close from December 24-January 2.
  • Mokonuts will close from December 24 through January 8.
  • Pas de Loup will close on December 24/25 and December 31/January 31, but is otherwise open every day, including for brunch on Sundays.
  • The Green Goose will close on December 24 /25th but is otherwise open every day. They’re serving a special Irish-themed Christmas dinner on December 19.
  • Restaurant Pierre Sang Boyer and l’Atelier Gambey will be closed from December 23 to January 3.
  • Septime will close on December 30 and will reopen for dinner on January 10. Septime Cave will close on December 25 and January 1st, and is selling their delicious foie gras with smoked eel to put on your party table.
  • Tondo will close from December 24-30 and from January 1-2, but will be open for New Year’s Eve, serving an eight-course tasting menu for 100€.
  • Yard will close from December 24 through January 2.

  • Dersou will close on December 24/25 and January 1. For December 31st, they’re serving a special meal for 150€.
  • Will will close on December 24/25 & January 1. For December 31st, they’re serving a special meal for 100€ not including drinks.

  • L’Assiette will close from December 24-January 3.
  • La Régalade will close from December 24-26 and from December 31 through January 2.

  • Le Casse Noix will close from December 24-January 1, reopening for dinner on January 2.

  • Étude will close on December 24/25 and January 1. For December 31st, they’re serving a special meal for 130€.
  • Hexagone and Histoires will close on December 24/25 and January 1st. On December 31, Hexagone will serve a six-course menu for 250€, and Histoires will serve a seven-course menu for 450€.
  • L’Abeille will close from December 17-30. On December 31, they’ll be serving an eight-course tasting menu for 680€, and they’ll be closed on January 1.
75017 (Clichy, Batignolles)
  • Coretta will close on December 24/25 and December 31/January 1.
  • L’Huîtrier will be open on December 24 and 31 only for take-out oyster orders. They will close on January 1.
  • Rech will close from December 24 through January 2.
75018 (Montmartre)
  • Jeanne B will close December 24/25, plus December 31 through January 3.
  • La Rallonge will close from December 23 through January 5.
  • La Table d’Eugène will close from December 23 through January 5.
75020 (Père Lachaise, Belleville)
  • Chatomat will close December 24/25 and January 1. On December 31, they’ll be serving a four-course menu for 50€.
