A new outpost for Coutume–this time in collaboration with design concept Labstore. You’ll see a smaller selection of their beloved roasts than at the rue Babylone location, now accompanied by some trippy Labstore products. Offerings include aeroshots (flavored caffeine inhalers), whafs (Irish coffee or other flavored mist designed to be inhaled via glass straw) and wikipearls of ice cream, yogurt, compote, cheese and eventually even soup with gelatinous edible skins that eliminate the need for packaging.

Nearest transport: Palais Royal-Musée du Louvre (1, 7), Louvre-Rivoli (1)
Hours: Closed Mondays; Open Tuesday-Friday 9am-7pm and Saturday-Sunday 10am-7pm

- Good Coffee in Paris (2014) “Coutume Lab is a venue for a whole array of fascinating–and sometimes extremely bizarre–sense experiences. On the shelves you will find a collection of intricate inventions, ranging from inhalable coffee vapour to prototypes for scent-transmitting phones, while at the bar you will be treated to a gustative ceremony, courtesy of WikiPearl Ice Cream and Café Coutume.”
