We went last week, being able to make last minute reservations while the rest of Paris was still on holiday. The sangria was probably the best you’re ever going to taste. Ever. The jamon iberique was so good, I spontaneously stole the last piece out of Mr French’s hand as his astonished son looked on. The tapas, though, were not tapas in the traditional sense. They were excellent, but too refined for the term. The langoustine rice was perfectly moelleux with just a hint of charring, exactly like it should be. The only weakness was the desserts. Did not find that the rhubarb creme brulé was a good marriage of flavours, and was too gun shy to even try the tomate confit.
