Grégory Renard – NOW CLOSED


The chocolate here is fine… the macarons are exceptional and exceptionally priced at one euro a piece. His version of the salted butter caramel macaron is our favorite in the city, and he’s got a real gift for balancing floral and tart flavors to keep them (rose, violet, poppy flower) from tasting like soap. Not to be missed.

  1. The Daubenton location lady told me today that the recipe changed and she’s not sure of thr macarons being fully gluten free anymore. I’m disappointed as this was the only day free in Paris to try them and couldn’t.

  2. Gregory is my favorite for macarons. When I have a craving for one, I go out of my way to pick up his delicious pomme de cannelle. No one else makes it and it is truly delicious. I am kind of curious about his foie gras et figue one. I can’t wait to try it the next time I am in Paris.

    I have been told that he doesn’t enter the competition for the best macaron. I am sure that if he did he would win.
