David Lebovitz (2011) “I’m happy to say that it’s finally occurred to someone to fry up a great burger and fries: beef that’s just-ground and not too lean, a freshly toasted bun made by a local baker, and French fries that are cooked until crisp.”

The New York Times (2011) “Three of the city’s best new modern bistro chefs are American, and Paris’s first gourmet food truck, Le Camion qui Fume, selling blue-cheese burgers, caramelized onions, frites and more, was recently outfitted by Kristin Frederick, a Californian.”

Paris Notebook (2011) “The verdict? Amazing. Homemade toasted rolls and freshly ground beef made for a particularly juicy burger with just the right amount of fat… it was clear that these were hand-cut fries and not frozen, another sin most places in Paris make.”

  1. What is the buzz about? I have eaten one of their hamburgers today at Madeleine, was oily and greasy, disgusting, waited one hour for this, bad experience.

  2. A question of being in the right place at the right time, we simply must start stalking these guys to see if the burgers are all they’re cracked up to be. Thanks for the info!
