Fripon (NOW CLOSED)

Fripon announced in September 2023 that they would be closing.

We loved Fripon when it first opened with small plates from (Top Chef contestant) Pauline Séné. It was so good that we added Fripon to our list of 50 Favorite Restaurants in Paris. Unfortunately, Séné left Fripon to helm the kitchen at Arboré, a restaurant in the Hôtel Royal Madeleine. We returned to test Fripon after her departure in 2022 and had one of the worst meals of the year, as evidenced by this dish:
