You’ll visit five carefully selected shops that reflect the area’s refined tastes—from world-class bakeries and chocolatiers to specialist fromageries and pastry chefs who cater to the city’s most discerning palates. We’ll taste buttery croissants and award-winning breads from a bakery beloved by locals and critics alike, then visit a master chocolatier creating exquisite ganaches and confections. You’ll discover a family fromagerie where raw milk cheeses are carefully aged in temperature-controlled cellars. Your guide will help you understand regional differences, proper aging, and the art of French cheese culture. Then visit one of the world’s finest artisan charcuteries, where a cult following has developed around their exceptional pâtés and traditional cured meats. PRICE & PRACTICAL DETAILS

Our very popular small group tours are limited to 8 guests. Tickets are priced at $150 per person, including generous food & wine tastings. Tours are led by food & wine experts and last around 3 hours. We’re mostly moving & standing during the first 1.5 hours, with a seated tasting the last half of the tour. The seated tasting in the winter is always indoors and cozy and with wine, making this a great activity for cold or rainy days. Just come prepared with an umbrella and good shoes for the first half of the tour. We’ll send you the exact meeting point upon booking, but you can plan to finish near the Sèvres-Babylone metro stop.

Most of our tastings on this route take place in a beautiful wine shop and we must climb one flight of stairs. If you’d prefer to avoid any stairs, we suggest the North Marais or East Saint-Germain tour.

As with our North Marais and South Marais routes, this tour features some charcuterie. If you don’t eat meat, you can skip it, and there will be plenty of other delicious tastes for you to enjoy. If you prefer to join a tour that does not include meat, we recommend our Left Bank and East Saint-Germain tours.

CANCELLATIONS POLICY

Refunds are available for those who cancel with at least 48 hours notice minus a €20 cancellation fee per ticket. No refunds or changes are allowed within 48 hours of your tour. Clients who arrive more than ten minutes late without calling or not at all (no-shows) will be treated as cancellations with no refund. Our tours run rain or shine.

Clients who are booking tours within 24 hours of their arrival in Paris should be aware that we do not offer refunds in the case of delayed flights (because this is such a common occurrence).
