Ever feel overwhelmed when looking at a French wine menu? The French Wine Discovery is designed to demystify French wine and give you the confidence to navigate any restaurant wine list with ease. This relaxed happy hour tasting introduces you to five distinctive wines from major French regions, led by a certified wine expert who will help you understand the key differences between regions and, most importantly, discover your own preferences. This is a pre-dinner experience with the focus squarely on wine education—not a meal replacement.
Your expert guide will walk you through five very different French wines representing different grapes, regions, and winemaking styles. You’ll learn to identify what you enjoy and why, building the vocabulary and confidence to order exactly what you want to drink, whether you’re dining in Paris or back home. We’ll provide light apéritif nibbles—the sort of snacks locals enjoy while sipping with friends—artisanal bread and traditional French appetizers that complement the wines without overwhelming your palate.
This intimate 2-hour class is limited to just 8 guests, creating an engaging small group format where you can ask questions and explore your own preferences. The tasting takes place in a beautiful wine shop with one flight of stairs to access the tasting room.

PRICE & PRACTICAL DETAILS
Our very popular wine classes are limited to 8 guests. Tickets are priced at $115 per person, including five wine tastings and light apéritif nibbles. Classes are led by certified wine experts and last around 2 hours. This is a pre-dinner experience designed as a relaxed happy hour tasting—not a meal.
The tasting takes place entirely indoors in a beautiful wine shop tasting room in Saint-Germain near the Luxembourg Gardens. A small staircase with railing is used to access the tasting room. We’ll send you the exact meeting point upon booking.

CANCELLATIONS POLICY
Refunds are available for those who cancel with at least 48 hours notice minus a €20 cancellation fee per ticket. No refunds or changes are allowed within 48 hours of your tour. Clients who arrive more than ten minutes late without calling or not at all (no-shows) will be treated as cancellations with no refund. Our tours run rain or shine.
Clients who are booking tours within 24 hours of their arrival in Paris should be aware that we do not offer refunds in the case of delayed flights (because this is such a common occurrence).
