Épopée arrived in the 11th in late 2025 with considerable momentum — a rapturous Le Figaro review and a Michelin Bib Gourmand within weeks of each other. Chef Yurika Kitano, formerly of Clamato, cooks a Franco-Japanese lunch menu at 24€ for two courses and 29€ for three. The wine list is genuinely impressive, deep in natural producers with strong Alsace and Jura sections and entry bottles from €32. The room, spread across three connected spaces with exposed stone and burgundy walls, has real potential. What let us down was everything else: a glacial three-hour lunch, inattentive service, and portions that left us ordering cheese we didn’t want just to feel fed.
