Zoutra is the little sister of Adraba, the beloved Levantine restaurant just across the street in Montmartre. Where Adraba is a high-energy celebration, Zoutra is its quieter, more intimate counterpart — 35 seats, dripping candles, and a leather banquette in the back that feels more like a friend’s apartment than a restaurant. Chef Elior Benaroche, who built his reputation at Balagan before opening Adraba, brings the same Levantine pantry to bear here: labneh, sumac, za’atar, charcoal, bottarga. The menu is shareable and concise, with prices that are genuinely reasonable for the quality. Standouts include the Beygalé de Jérusalem — sesame bread with labneh and salmon eggs — and the Arayes Lubnani, grilled flatbread rounds filled with spiced lamb. Note that vegetarians will find only one option on the menu. The wine list is interesting but expensive.
