Alain Ducasse has created a floating restaurant that’s actually good. Ducasse sur Seine docks directly in front of the Eiffel Tower and offers an incredible view of that monument at the beginning as you arrive for your lunch or dinner. It then breaks away for a slow and silent (the boat is electric and soundless) cruise that glides past the most gorgeous Paris monuments during a two-hour circuit.
At lunch, there are menus at 95€ (two courses + a beverage), 105€ (three courses), 160€ (three courses + wine pairings and 265€ (four courses + wine pairings + Champagne). At dinner, a four course menu starts at 160€ and the price increases to 305€ for a five course menu with wine pairings and Champagne. For 500€, there’s a six course menu with Champagne and wine pairings, plus the best view at the front of the boat.

IN OTHER WORDS
- Patricia Wells “Imagine two solid hours slowly cruising the Seine on a comfortable, understated boat, all the while dining on fine seasonal fare. While I expected the ride to be spectacular, I wasn’t sure the food would provide a true gastronomic experience. I was wrong.”
- Michelin Guide “Well, no one can say that Alain Ducasse lacks for boldness or ideas, as the Ducasse sur Seine once again proves. An electric boat, moored on the quayside of Port Debilly in the swanky 16th arrondissement, offers a gastronomic cruise that is both ecological and silent. At the same time as you discover Parisian monuments, you will taste up – to – the – minute cuisine, masterfully crafted by a kitchen team worthy of the best restaurants.” Well done, mon capitaine!”
