Occasion arrived in the 10th arrondissement in February 2026 with a proposition that feels almost radical: four courses for 49€, in a room assembled from mid-century design finds by two chefs with serious pedigrees. Candice Brée and Margaux Baju, who have cooked at Plaza Athénée, Akrame, Gaya, and Pages, have built something that is neither casual nor prohibitively expensive — a grown-up dinner that doesn’t demand a special occasion to justify. The cooking is precise and seasonal, the wine list is one of the more personal and intelligently curated in the neighborhood, and the room — Breuer chairs, Strateg cutlery, a Ben Hoek shelving system crowded with vintage glassware — looks like nowhere else in Paris. The bathroom floor mosaic is worth the trip alone
