- Croque Camille (2011) “…something of a coffee-geek’s paradise, with single-origin beans roasted to perfection on the premises, and your choice of any brewing method…The breakfast formule, with three mini-viennoiseries, hot beverage of your choice, and a glass of freshly-squeezed juice, is a decent buy, especially for this neighborhood.”
- Barbra Austin – Girls’ Guide to Paris (2011) “The coffee is the big draw at Coutume, but it’s become one of my favorite spots for a light lunch…The attention to detail and freshness carries over into the colorful menu of organic salads and soups.”

Excellent place! The guys are so nice and explain you anything you want to know about coffee. The cake of white chocolate and jasmine tea is simply great. Tomorrow (may 14th) they are going to have coffee tasting from 10 to 11 and 11 to 12.
Hello!! I went to Coutume yesterday with a group of friends, and as per this information page we didn’t make a reservation. They actually do take reservations especially for Sunday brunch. We waited about 30 minutes for a non-reserved table to free up, but the time was spent well at the little coffee bar.
Hope that helps!
Thanks for the tip, Maggie! We’ve updated the page to recommend reservations for brunch.
just stumbled upon this place today after noticing the decor from outside. what a fabulous place to sit down and have a coffee. i had the café coutume (espresso, milk, foam and white chocolate) and it was a superb coffee with a very smooth and sweet finish.
Been to Coutume Café twice with friends – one of the best places for really good coffee and a decent bite to eat. Great atmosphere and just a skip-and-a-jump to Le Bon Marché down the road. Great place to take your tourist friends if you’re in the Musee Rodin/Invalides area.
