IN OTHER WORDS

Lost in Cheeseland (2013) “A Franco-Australian duo is behind this mega successful coffee operation which swells with both neighborhood regulars and out-of-towners the second the doors open. You can also find their house-roasted coffee… in many restaurants across the city. Siphon is one of their many claims to fame.”

Croque Camille (2011) “… something of a coffee-geek’s paradise, with single-origin beans roasted to perfection on the premises, and your choice of any brewing method…The breakfast formule, with three mini-viennoiseries, hot beverage of your choice, and a glass of freshly-squeezed juice, is a decent buy, especially for this neighborhood.”

  1. Best cappuccino we have ever had and we’ve have had coffee all over! Being from the states, it has been so need to see the coffee scene develop in Paris.

  2. Been to Coutume Café twice with friends – one of the best places for really good coffee and a decent bite to eat. Great atmosphere and just a skip-and-a-jump to Le Bon Marché down the road. Great place to take your tourist friends if you’re in the Musee Rodin/Invalides area.

  3. just stumbled upon this place today after noticing the decor from outside. what a fabulous place to sit down and have a coffee. i had the café coutume (espresso, milk, foam and white chocolate) and it was a superb coffee with a very smooth and sweet finish.

  4. Hello!! I went to Coutume yesterday with a group of friends, and as per this information page we didn’t make a reservation. They actually do take reservations especially for Sunday brunch. We waited about 30 minutes for a non-reserved table to free up, but the time was spent well at the little coffee bar.

    Hope that helps!

  5. Excellent place! The guys are so nice and explain you anything you want to know about coffee. The cake of white chocolate and jasmine tea is simply great. Tomorrow (may 14th) they are going to have coffee tasting from 10 to 11 and 11 to 12.
