Chef Lucie Boursier-Mougenot and her team create a beautiful tasting menu that changes every week to reflect the seasons, and Luca Danti ensures that everyone in the dining room feels very well taken care of. It’s open Sunday and within easy walking distance from Montmartre, which makes it a popular spot. Book several weeks in advance.

I went to Petrelle for my birthday on a cold winter night. I was shocked when the waiter told me the service was not included. I speak fluent French and English so I asked a few times but it was awkward as he was presenting me with a payment machine with suggested tips. It blew my long saved budget for the meal. Are you aware of this? Is this their policy or was I played. I wish I would have known in advance.
