Tram Café serves breakfast pastries and excellent coffee in the morning (with laptops permitted until noon), and wonderful dishes for lunch. They’re Instagram famous for their croque monsieur, which I found a little heavy, but everything else I’ve tasted here was bright and delicious. You can browse in the adjoining bookstore while your food is being prepared, and there’s an adorable sidewalk terrace with a view of the church dedicated to Paris’ patron saint.
